Dr Vanessa Hacon is a Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Anthropology, University of Brasilia (UnB), Brazil, since 2019. Associated to the research group “Interethnic Relations” (LAGERI -UnB); Research group "Law, gender and family" (UnB); and Shera Research Group (UK). Ph.D., Social Sciences - Postgraduate Program of Social Sciences in Development, Agriculture and Society - CPDA/UFRRJ (2018). M.A., Psychosociology of Communities and Social Ecology - Eicos Program/UFRJ (2011).Specialization in Environmental Sciences - NADC/UFRJ (2008). Research fields: political ecology; rural sociology; political anthropology; international development cooperation; rights of traditional and indigenous peoples; financialization of nature; environmental conservation; indigenous health policy; gender studies; maternity; gender-based violence against women; climate change, health and equity.
