Dr Saqba Batool

Dr Saqba Batool is a researcher at Social Care and Society at the University of Manchester who specialises in social care, mental health, and abuse research, particularly in marginalised communities.

Saqba's PhD focused on online grooming and sexual exploitation of children and young people and was subsequently awarded a Career Development Award by the National Institute for Health Research School for Social Care Research to develop research supporting south Asian women who experience domestic abuse.

She is also a consultant for Made By Mortals, currently involved in co-producing audio episode to empower and support women who experience domestic abuse.
